Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 p.m., beginning with dinner together in Luther Hall

GOALS: Learning, Music, Fellowship, Service

•    Faith formation and spiritual growth – learn about God, God’s people, the church, and ways to participate in worship

•    Work, play, and pray together
•    Learn Bible stories and teachings of Jesus
•    Learn about God and God’s people
•    Learn shorter portions of liturgy
•    Learn hymns or portions of them
•    Learn anthems and special music

•    Build inter-relational skills – know and respect each other

•    Learn through stories, games, manipulatives, imitation, movement, and play

•    Build musical skills
•    Rhythm
•    Matching Pitch
•    Singing
•    Choir Chimes
•    Orff instruments
•    Rhythm instruments
•    Reading Music

Through the Bible children learn:

•    God is present
•    The stories have value
•    The stories have meaning
•    God loves them
•    We love God
•    They are important
•    A different language is spoken

Parents, please sign up to help on Wednesday, and please support the children when they are scheduled to sing for worship.
