- Jan 10th – Spring Pow Wow/Intergenerational Service Project was a great success. 13 more blankets were made and delivered to local women and children’s shelter. Thanks everyone!!!

Children Pre-K – 2nd grade: Godly Play – A practical yet innovative approach to Christian education, utilizing active participation in story and ritual to learn about God and God’s people. Click here for more info. MEET IN THE LIBRARY.
Children 3rd – 5th grades: Spark – activate faith – Spark empowers kids’ creativity and imaginations as they explore Scripture through exciting activities that reinforce the lessons. MEET IN THE ROOM TO THE LEFT OF THE NURSERY (RM 113).

Adults -
• Gospel of Luke Bible Study continues on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the Wittenburg Room of Luther Hall. Luke’s Gospel is uniquely inclusive, involving all people. The Good News is for the outcast and the establishment, for the religious and those searching. Luke speaks to women, to men, to the strong and healthy, to the weak and dispossessed. Its relevance today inspires faith, spirituality and action. Luke’s words encourage disciples of all ages to see the path Jesus invites us to follow.
• First Place 4 Health continues. New classes begin on Wednesday, April 7 and Sunday, April 11. This Christ-centered overall health program is particularly beneficial to persons with diabetes, high blood pressure, and other health/weight issues. This Bible study program helps develop a healthy lifestyle for all aspects of life-physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental. Two sessions are offered -Sundays at 9:30 AM and Wednesdays at 9:30 AM. New members are welcome at the beginning of each 12-week session. There is a fee for materials. For questions or to sign up contact Beth Moseman.
• Jennifer Cuthbertson will give a presentation on ministry in Kenya and Japan on Sunday, March 14 at 9:30 AM in the sanctuary. She has remarkable stories of faith and challenges through many years of service as a missionary.
• The Rev. Kerry Nelson will speak on evangelism and stewardship on Sunday, March 21 at 9:30 AM at our adult forum in the sanctuary.
• The Adult Forum on Sunday, March 28 at 9:30 AM will be our final cottage planning meeting opportunity for the current series.
PLEASE SIGN UP TO TEACH A SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS OR TWO DURING THE SPRING SESSION. IT’S A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO KNOW THE YOUTH AND FAMILIES AT HCLC AND TO GO DEEPER WITH CHRIST THROUGH THIS MINISTRY. THANKS FOR SUPPORTING THE STAFF, CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES OF HCLC.
