Holy Comforter Lutheran School Early Childhood Programs

The Early Childhood Education Programs of Holy Comforter Lutheran Church provide a quality Christian environment for educational and social development.

OUR MISSION:
Holy Lutheran Church School, established in 1972 , is an integral part of Holy Comforter Lutheran Church’s mission and evangelistic goal to reach out into our community. Our purpose is to provide a safe, nurturing, Christian environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children. The child will experience the joy of learning and feeling of security, success and responsibility through activities appropriate for their age. We pride ourselves on offering learning experiences based on individual differences and needs.

OUR HISTORY:
The 1972-73 school year marked the advent of Holy Comforter Lutheran Church School’s Preschool program . Church member, Marilyn Pirner who for many years acted as both Director and teacher, founded the Preschool. In 1993 Mrs.Pirner decided to devote all her time to the classroom where she remained until her retirement in 1998. In 1977, the Preschool program expanded to offer classes for three year olds and Mother’s Day Out for younger children.
