As you may remember, our budget for 2010 does not include funds for special musicians. It has become our custom to have a professional brass quartet help lead and enhance our worship on Easter Day. Funding for brass customarily has come from special gifts and budget. If you would like to contribute to this endeavor, your gift will be appreciated.
Reformation Sunday October 26th, 2008 will be remembered as a day in Holy Comforter Lutheran Church (HCLC) history. Not only did the church celebrate one of the holiest days of the Lutheran church year, the church also celebrated its 40th anniversary. The day began with two beautiful services, led by Pastor Barbara Bartling. Both services included all of the church’s choirs, the Gloria Dei Choir and Voices of Praise, the hand-bell groups, Bells of Praise and the Glory Ringers. The second service was standing-room only.
